Cath Evans - Profile

Cath is a professional photographer living in Brixworth, Northamptonshire. In 2008 she designed and produced a calendar of Northamptonshire landscape photographs which sold well locally. Her work has been featured in a variety of local press including the Chronicle & Echo and she has held exhibitions across the county including at 78 Derngate - The Mackintosh House and Galleries in Northampton, JGallery in Moulton and for the last two years she has exhibited, throughout September, alongside other artists (painters) at Brixworth Library as part of Northamptonshire Open Studios.

Photography Tuition

Cath offers one-to-one photography tuition for beginners in the Northamptonshire area. Sessions are informal and relaxed and are focussed on improving your photography skills using your own camera.

For those with an interest in landscape photography and wanting to travel a little further, Cath leads exciting and inspiring photography holidays for Tripods at Dawn. The itinerary is carefully planned to have plenty of time for photography but also some extras which make the trip feel more like a holiday.

Lifestyle Portrait Photography

Cath favours outdoor portraits for the natural light and her approach to portrait photography is relaxed and informal. The photo shoot is simply about capturing a moment of you and your family at that particular time in your life - the ‘real’ you.
