Do you love photography but would like to improve your skills and understand your camera better?
ONE-TO-ONE TUITION
Do you (or someone you know) use the automatic 'program' mode on your SLR camera but would like to use the more creative modes?
I am offering two options for my one-to-one workshops - the only difference between them is the length of time; either one hour or two hours, the choice is yours.
I will help you further your photography skills by showing you how to take creative control of the images you make using your camera. Tuition takes place on location either in Brixworth Country Park or Abington Park in Northampton.
We will cover some or all of the following topics (depending on your experience) enabling you improve your photography and take photographs with confidence:
Topics covered:
Using Aperture and shutter priority modes
Understanding exposure
Mastering depth of field for artistic effect
Using Filters (Neutral Density Grads & Polarisers)
Improving Composition
Equipment: Please bring with you: your camera, lens(es) and a tripod. Please also bring filters if you have them....and any other kit you'd like to bring such as a cable release...oh and please remember memory cards or film.
Clothing: It can get chilly when you're standing around outside especially by the water so please check the weather forecast and bring a coat, hat, scarf and gloves if necessary!
Tuition Time: 1 hour Price: £40
Tuition Time: 2 hours Price: £80
If you and your significant other, friend or colleague would like to share a one-to-one workshop then there is a discounted price for two people.
Couples Price: £100 (£50 each - a saving of £60! )
Please Note: This discount is only available for a 2 hour tuition session.

Join me for a Tripods at Dawn Landscape Photography Holiday
I am leading photography holidays for Tripods at Dawn to some incredibly beautiful destinations. I love photography and it's always a lot of fun to spend time with other like-minded people. Photography can be a very lonely, isolating hobby, so these holidays are a great way of combining passions for photography and travel whilst meeting new people.
The itineraries for these holidays have been carefully planned to ensure that we're at the location at the time when the light should be at it's best so that we can take some great photographs, but also that we have time for a bit of 'sight seeing' and have relaxation time too. These really are fantastic holidays!
